This is 'Coast scene, St kilda', by Thomas Clark. He drew the coast scene in St Kilda about 150 years ago. As you can see it 's quite different from current aspect. There are cafes , reataurants and many buildings along the beach, the road is everytime busy, then we cannot find scene of this pic anymore. Which do you prefer scene of this pic or current one?

I prefer quiet beach to noisy and busy beach. Especially, standing seeing wide and calm winter sea is romatic. When I was in Korea, i used to go to sea to arrange my complicated idea. It was really helpful. However, in the case of St.Kilda beach, it is too noisy and crowded to have time to think about your anigusih of heart.
